- Replaces pegs in pegboard
- Enjoys water play, pouring between different containers
- Enjoys scribbling with crayons on paper
- Can make horizontal, vertical and circular strokes
Parents should be concerned if their child
- Does not establish hand dominance
- Shows little interest in constructional activities - find tower building
difficult
- Has problems manipulating pegs and takes a long time to complete the task
- Enjoy water play - but usually pours from container back into trough
- Has difficulty holding a crayon
- Holds with an unusually tight grip
