How child play can assist in development
When you see your
child play, as well as enjoying themselves, they are learning how to
interact with other children or the environment. Child play is
an essential part of growing up.
At Mentis XL we believe that child play can be
directed towards providing a stimulating and rewarding
educational experience.
We have produced a programme to let your
child play with you and at the same time develop many skills
that they will need in later life.
Our programme is not based on reading, writing
or arithmetic. Instead a structured series of programmes has
been developed to encourage movement skills, thinking skills,
social skills in children aged three to five.
The programme has been designed by an
experienced Educational Psychologist with more than 20 years
experience in the 'Early Years'.
On our website is information relating to this
programme and a sample video showing the type of exercises we
are trying to encourage parents to try.
